Where Salt & STONE meet AIR
A combination Marine and vertical experience- UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN THE TAiYA INLET.
WE AREN’T JUST BUILDING A TOUR; WE’RE ENGINEERING A NEW PERSPECTIVE for you.
Where EARTH meets AIR
Halutu Sky Walk is so much more than a tour; it’s a meticulously engineered perspective on the Alaskan wilds. Your journey begins where the road ends, leaving the crowds behind for a premier remote-access experience in the Upper Lynn Canal.
The adventure starts with a custom high-speed charter from Haines or Skagway. You’ll cruise beneath towering granite buttresses and past abundant marine life before landing at a remote, private cove with no other humans for miles. Here, in the heavy silence of the Taiya Inlet, the transition from sea to sky begins.
This is an immersive expedition designed for those who want to touch the magic of the wilderness in a way typically reserved for elite adventurers. Whether you are looking for a skill-building challenge or a quiet sanctuary away from the “life-noise” of the modern world, this experience bridges the gap between the rugged Alaskan coast and the vertical world above.
From Sea to Sky

Via Ferrata <VEE-uh Feh-RAH-tuh>
Italian for “iron Path”
The bridge between hiking and mountaineering. Via Ferrata is a vertical passage integrated into the ancient granite of the Lynn Canal. Using fixed Steel rungs and modern safety anchors, guests learn to navigate vertical faces and exposed spans once reserved only for expert climbers—all while remaining tethered to the mountain under the guidance of our professional team.
ALPINE STANDARDS // Utilizing a redundant, multi-point connection system that ensures a constant, secure link to the climbing route throughout the entire ascent.
ALPIN TRADITION // Steeped in a century-old Italian heritage, this style of climbing provides a gateway to explore vertical terrain safely and intentionally.
PROFESSIONAL RIGGING // Constructed to meet international EN, UIAA and CE mountaineering hardware specifications.
EXPOSURE // A fully managed climbing environment, designed to provide participants with an immersive, skill-building experience in Alaskan terrain.
Current performance data confirms: Kids love this thing!
